added liver friendly fresh beets & a whole bunch of citrus fruit to cleanse & detoxify.
In addition to a great ‘system refresher’ this vitamin C loaded smoothie is highly recommended as an immune
system boost during cold season.
Makes: 1 Smoothie
Prep Time: 5 minutes
– 1/4 cup fresh Beets
– 1/2 Spotty Banana
– 1/4 cup Strawberries
– 1/4 cup Cucumber
– 1/4 ounce fresh Lemon Juice
– 1/4 ounce fresh Lime Juice
– 1 ounce fresh squeezed Orange Juice
– 1 tsp Flax Seeds
–1 small peice fresh Ginger
– Chilled Green Tea or Water, enough to cover ingredients
Some “Extra” Ideas
– Chia Seeds
– Fresh Grapefruit Juice
How To Do It
Throw it all in your blender, adjust flavors to taste!
(Add a pinch of Green Leaf Stevia if you prefer it a little sweeter.)
