Are You an Emotional Eater?

As you've learned over the past 8 weeks hormones are tricky and can play a huge role in how we feel and
the quality of our lives in general.

When we work towards getting our hormones balanced it truly can make a world of difference!
Changing our diets to encourage healthy hormones supports everything from an improvement in our moods,
menstrual cycle and menopausal symptoms, blood sugar highs and lows, stress management and personal weight goals.
These things become more manageable and life seems to get just a little (or lot) easier! 

Now that you are hopefully seeing the benefits of eating to nourish hormone health, I wanted
to conclude the program and finish week 8 up with a quick Emotional Eating Quiz.
This is intended to help you determine if this may be one more thing
keeping you stuck with your health and wellness goals.

We've all been there (nothing soothes stress or anguish like ice cream and chocolate right?!)
It's healthy and it's okay to indulge and treat ourselves, we're human! 
It's when we find our eating patterns and habits are entirely driven by our moods, life circumstances
and emotional states we can run into problems.
Food stops being a pleasure and becomes a crutch, and that's not a fun place to be! 

I encourage you to check out the quick quiz + tools above and the mindful eating food journal below.
Have a mini check in with your eating habits, ask yourself,

"Am I An Emotional Eater?" 

Recognizing these patterns and situations that trigger us to eat in unhealthy ways is definitely
the first step in ​getting back in tune with our bodies and minds.
